Program Information

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING YOUR CHILD IN THE FAMILY FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM. To register, please click the Register button below.

WATER is the process now in place for students who desire baptism. Students will still be enrolled in BREAD (for Levels 1-6) or FIRE (Level 7 and above) and complete the requirements of that part of the Family Formation program. 

In addition, because the formation for Baptism is so important, students seeking Baptism will attend the 9:30 a.m. mass twice a month and then participate in a formation process for Baptism. This is a modified version of what adults seeking baptism enter.

How will this work?

• You will receive information in September for the calendar year.
• Students will attend the 9:15 a.m. Mass when assigned. After the homily, they will be sent forth with one or two catechists to study God’s Word and apply it to their lives.
• They will then meet their family after Mass at approximately 10:15/10:30 a.m.
• Students may use this Mass as one of their reflections.

During the second year of formation, students will be fully initiated at the Easter Vigil  (Saturday evening before Easter) receiving the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

Please remember that all families with children in Grades 1-8 should enroll in the Family Faith Formation Program or St. Brigid-Our Lady of Hope School.
