    Primera lectura Jeremίas 18, 1-6

    Esto es lo que el Señor me dijo: “Jeremías, ve a la casa del alfarero y ahí te haré oír mis palabras”.

    Fui, pues, a la casa del alfarero y lo hallé trabajando en su torno. Cuando se le estropeaba la vasija que estaba modelando, volvía a hacer otra con el mismo barro, como mejor le parecía.

    Entonces el Señor me dijo: “¿Acaso no puedo hacer yo con ustedes, casa de Israel, lo mismo que hace este alfarero? Como está el barro en las manos del alfarero, así ustedes, casa de Israel, están en mis manos”.
