    Reading 1 Isaiah 38:1-6, 21-22, 7-8

    When Hezekiah was mortally ill,
    the prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, came and said to him:
    "Thus says the LORD: Put your house in order,
    for you are about to die; you shall not recover."
    Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD:

    "O LORD, remember how faithfully and wholeheartedly
    I conducted myself in your presence,
    doing what was pleasing to you!"
    And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

    Primera lectura Isaίas 38, 1-6. 21-22. 7-8

    En aquel tiempo, el rey Ezequías enfermó de muerte y vino a verlo el profeta Isaías, hijo de Amós, y le dijo: "Esto dice el Señor: 'Arregla todos tus asuntos, porque no te vas a aliviar y te vas a morir' ".

    Ezequías volvió la cara hacia la pared, oró al Señor y dijo: "Acuérdate, Señor, de que te he servido con fidelidad y rectitud de corazón y de que he hecho siempre lo que a ti te agrada". Y lloró con abundantes lágrimas.

    Entonces el Señor le habló a Isaías y le dijo: "Ve a decirle a Ezequías: 'Esto dice el Señor, Dios de tu padre, David: He escuchado tu oración y he visto tus lágrimas. Voy a curarte y en tres días podrás ir al templo
