All volunteers and employees at St. Brigid's are required to participate in a VIRTUS training course and to go through a background check. You can sign up for the VIRTUS classes by visiting www.drvc.org or clicking here. We offer a class or two each month at St. Brigid's.

Pastoral Intervention Team
The dedicated telephone line for reporting allegations of sexual abuse (516-694-9063) continues to be available. If the caller does not reach someone directly, messages can be left on an answering machine connected to the phone. Those messages will be retrieved by a member of the Intervention Team and returned as soon as possible. All appropriate steps will be taken to protect the reputation and privacy of those involved.
