Important VIRTUS Training Session for ALL Parish Volunteers and Employees

FOR:  ALL ST. BRIGID’S EMPLOYEES & VOLUNTEERS.

Another set of VIRTUS Training is coming to St. Brigid’s!
Over 1,200 Volunteers and Employees have attended VIRTUS training at St. Brigid’s sessions in the past.

WHAT IS VIRTUS?

VIRTUS (Protecting God’s Children) is an informational and helpful workshop regarding the protection of the vulnerable, especially youth.  It teaches people to ask questions like these: What are things we ought to notice?  What ought we do if certain behaviors concern us?

HOW WILL VIRTUS HELP?

VIRTUS will help any employee and volunteer recognize the warning signs of abuse, give the appropriate steps to respond to suspicious behavior, and help prevent abuse through education.  Many who have already attended tell how beneficial VIRTUS has been in their personal lives as well, regarding their children and grandchildren.
