When we think about the Trinity, we oftentimes see it as an “unsolvable mystery,” that is, as something that our minds must try to figure out. How do you have three distinct persons but only one God? If we were to look at the Trinity as an unsolvable mystery, then there is a kind of distance between us and God. The unapproachable, distant God seems so contradictory to the God whom I believe has revealed himself to us as Love.
In this course, we want to explore and reflect upon the Blessed Trinity as God’s invitation to participate in divine life, being open to God who is father, Son and Holy Spirit. How does this revelation impact and define us in our relationship with God and indeed with all of creation?
The series will take place on Thursday evenings, April 20, 27, May 4, 11 and 18 beginning at 7:30pm in the School Library (101 Maple Ave). So that we can accommodate comfortably those who are interested in this course, we ask you to sign up by filling out the attached form and bringing it to the Parish Center (75 Post Ave.) or dropping it off in the collection on Sunday.
